Notes for Notes is a Santa Barbara based non-profit organization dedicated to providing underprivileged youth with free access to musical instruments, equipment and music-making environments so that music can become a profoundly positive influence in their lives.

Notes for Notes currently has one center, called the MusicBox at the 1235 Teen Center on Victoria and Chapala St and is currently constructing a second MusicBox at the Boys and Girls club on Cannon Perdido across from Santa Barbara High to open late October.  We are in need of musical instruments and recording equipment! Specifically, we are in need of computers w/ monitors, guitars/basses, amps, cables, mic stands, benches and thrones, keyboards and DJ/turntable equipment.
