1982 BJ42 - 3.4L DIESEL - California Registered -243,000 KM (150,993 MILES) 5 speed Conversion

The 40 Series Land Cruiser is the most sought after Land Cruiser on the planet. The BJ42 is essentially a diesel version of the FJ40 and was never built in the United States, only overseas. This particular Land Cruiser is from the Australian & New Zealand market. It was legally imported into the United States a little over a year ago and has spent its time in California. The BJ42 comes with the world famous 3B diesel engine. The 3B diesel engine is renowned for its simplicity, dependability and is known to be bullet-proof with some exceeding 1,000,000 miles. Depending upon your driving style, 30 MPG is not uncommon and it can be easily converted to bio or veggie oil. Right hand drive vehicles take about an hour to get used to and are very fun to drive. This Cruiser has been meticulously maintained and I am sad to be selling it.

When I bought this BJ42, it was a 4 speed. I had it professionally converted to 5 speed, which is a huge improvement.
