2000 American Eagle Silver Proof Coin featuring the full length Liberty. The reverse side of the coin features the Heraldic eagle with shield, an olive branch in the right talon and arrows in the left. Artist Adolph A. Weinman created this design. The coin is encased in a hard plastic holder, packaged in a blue velvet satin-line presentation case and accompanied by the certificate of Authenticity from the United State Mint. Comes with the original outer box as received from the mint. Proof coins were issued specifically for coin collectors and, like all proofs, were and are available for direct purchase from the Mint but only during the current year of the coin’s mintage. From 1993 through 2000, they were produced in Philadelphia and held the "P" mint mark. This coin was purchased new and stored in a safe deposit box until now. Flawless.
