FOXY DOXY DACHSHUND RESCUE IS A NON-PROFIT DACHSHUND RESCUE LOCATED IN ATASCADERO WHICH IS CONSIDERED IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA. Do not be fooled by my age or gray hair! I am one handsome healthy mature man! My name is LINK and I am around 12 years young! We have been told 10 and we have been told 15 but trust me I am not some old couch potato. I just had blood work and a complete physical in August and my vet was pleasantly shocked at my health and results of the test for my age! My foster mom came and got me just in time. I was at the Kern County Animal Shelter and was very scared! My owner let me run away and then when he was told I was found he said he no longer wanted me! I do not know what I did wrong! I spent my life with him and now I am left is a scary loud shelter! I am a very sweet, mellow, and silly mature man! I like to bark to get you to play or feed me. I am a bit scared around small kids but all I do is bark until I feel safe. I have not tried to bite anyone! My mom does not know how I am with cats either so please do not trust me with one until I prove I wont be having kitty cat for a snack! We Dachshunds like to chase kitties! I am up to date on shots and neutered too! I had a vet check and my moms vet says I am very healthy! My heart and lungs sounded great and he was impressed I still had all my teeth! He says I need to have mom brush them to remove some of the tarter but they are not so bad I needed them pulled like most older dogs my age :-) I liked to hear that! So if you have room in your heart and your home for a mature (I am not old yet :-) ) handsome man please contact my mom! She says if I do not find a forever home I can stay here. She has a soft spot for the old ones that no one wants! A donation is required to adopt Link of $150.00
