Chinese Crested Dog - Small - Adult - na - Dog - Lil C

Hairless Chinese Crested, male 3 yrs?Lil C is about 10 pounds.  He is a beautiful dog, but needs a home that is dog savvy.  He was taken out of the pound and he definately has some issues.   He is protective of his turf & must be watched when strangers come in.  He has learned to 'leave it' and allow people in, but I do watch him as he will nip if I don't remind him to 'leave them alone'. He is mostly great with people he knows, but he will not allow too many libertys.  He has growled at me, but never offered to bite... I do watch him carefully however. We will NOT place him in a home with young children.   There is just too much chance for a bite in that situation.With all of that said, Lil C can be absolutely charming.  He LOVES to be held and gets quite attached to the people he knows & trusts.He has a 'big dog' bark... no little yap, yap for him!If you are an experienced dog person, I would be happy to go over his issues with you & see if you are a fit for him.   With the right person(s)  Lil C will be a great dog!This great dog is all ready for a new home! The adoption donation of $250.00 pays for this dog's medical care & also contributes to the medical care needed by other dog's that come into our rescue. (some dogs need hundreds of dollars worth of care to make them adoptable) Why purchase a dog for hundreds of dollars (that still needs vaccinations & neutering & microchip) when you can get this darling dog that already has everything and help other dogs at the same time??? Every life is precious! Thank you for your support.
